There are NO nuts, sesame, peanuts, or fish at our facility. However, AlbaLisa Organic Flour Tortillas and Tortilla Chips contain Sunflower Oil.

Yes. The vacuum pack seal prevents them from freezer burn. You can thaw them out on your kitchen counter, in your fridge or in the microwave.

Tortillas can be refrozen once.

You can cook the tortillas on a skillet at medium heat for about 20 seconds or until it bubbles. Flip it and let it cook until it bubbles and golden brown spots form.

The flour tortilla cannot be cooked in the microwave, but can be cooked in a toaster or grilled.

If you want to keep your tortillas warm and soft, you first need to sprinkle with water or brush oil on the tortillas. Then, place them on a hot skillet. Let the tortilla heat up for about 20 seconds and flip only once. Heat it up for another 20 seconds or until the tortilla looks and feel soft. Immediately transfer the tortillas into a tea towel or a piece of aluminum foil. Keep them covered until you are ready to serve.

The corn tortillas are good for between 3-5 days in the fridge.

The flour tortillas are good for between 10-15 days in the fridge.

AlbaLisa White Corn Tortillas can be more tender and milder in taste than the Yellow Corn Tortillas.AlbaLisa Yellow Corn Tortillas are sweeter and have a stronger corn flavour. When introducing children to tortillas, we recommend you get them to try the White Corn Tortillas first.

The Wheat Flour Tortillas are made with sunflower oil. Sometimes, when the tortillas are vac-packed and then frozen, some of the oil gets squeezed out as they thaw out. When this happens, the tortillas are still good to eat.
