Breaded Strip Loin Tacos
“I have always loved breading pork and chicken to add crunchy texture and extra flavour but it wasn’t until I was in Monterrey, Mexico that I realized you can do the same with flattened tender pieces of beef. Serve in a tortilla with salsa and shredded lettuce and you will have an unforgettable Taco de Milanesa”

Ingredients:
- 2 cups Panko Bread Crumbs
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- 1 cup Iceberg Lettuce, shredded
- 1 Avocado, sliced
- ¼ cup olive oil
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- Salsa*
- Rowe Farms Striploin Fast Fry Steak
- AlbaLisa Organic Tortillas
*AlbaLisa’s Choice: Spicy Jalapeño Sauce
Directions:
1.Place panko bread crumbs on a dish and season with salt and pepper. Heat skillet at medium low with olive oil.
2.Dip Rowe Farms Striploin Fast Fry Steak in beaten egg and then coat with bread crumbs. Fry until golden brown.
3.Prepare AlbaLisa corn or wheat flour tortillas.
For Organic Wheat Flour Tortillas: cook the tortillas on a skillet at medium heat for about 20 seconds or until it bubbles. Flip it and let it cook until it bubbles and golden brown spots form.
For Organic Corn Tortillas: To make the tortillas softer and more tender, sprinkle a few drops of water on both sides and proceed to cook them on a skillet at high heat for about 20 seconds and flip only once. Heat it up for another 20 seconds or until the tortilla looks and feels soft. Immediately transfer the tortillas into a tea towel or a piece of aluminum foil. Keep them covered until you are ready to serve.
4.Cut the breaded steak into strips and make your tacos adding lettuce, sliced avocado and salsa or AlbaLisa-approved Pico de Gallo. Enjoy!
